Severe Thunderstorms in the Southeast U.S. Saturday; Flash Flooding Threat for the Northern Gulf Coast

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms appear possible across portions of the Southeast and Carolinas on Saturday where a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) has been issued. Less windy than yesterday, but still breezy. Elevated fire weather remains a concern today given the breezy, dry weather. Warm and dry conditions continue through the rest of the weekend, but a wetter and colder pattern sets in Monday.
Fairly active weather pattern next week with chances for precipitation through much of the week. There is a slight chance for temperatures to be below normal, due to the nature of the storms.
