Hazy Skies Continue Today (Thursday) Due To Numerous Wildfires Out West

Wildfire smoke will continue to affect the entire region. While western fires will contribute to some smoke, local fires seen in this loop will contribute to surface smoke levels. A disturbance is projected to move through this evening into Friday morning, bringing increased shower and thunderstorm activity. This also is projected to be enough to hopefully clear the persistent smoke out of the region or at least help matters somewhat.
