Showers / Few Storms East of the Mississippi River

Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible through early afternoon east of the Mississippi River. A strong to severe storm could develop before the storms exit the area. An afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm will be possible later Saturday (20-30%), otherwise rain chances increase Sunday night. Seasonable temperatures in the 60s and 70s today with warmer readings in the 70s and 80s for the weekend.
