Several hours of single digit humidity will combine with wind gusts of 40-60 mph to create widespread critical to extreme fire weather conditions across central and eastern NM today. Red Flag Warning is in effect for most of central and eastern NM below snowpack during this time.
Critical to extreme fire weather conditions will allow for rapid and dangerous fire spread from any new spark Monday afternoon and evening, especially across the eastern plains.
