Patchy fog along river valleys will dissipate shortly after sunrise. Temperatures rebound today, rising to as much as 20 degrees above yesterday's highs. Skies will be mostly clear, with a few clouds developing over the mountains during the afternoon. A stray afternoon shower is possible in the south-central mountains.
A warming trend will begin Friday and continue through the weekend with daytime temperatures rising above normal areawide by Saturday. Roswell is forecast to hit 100 degrees for the first time this year on Sunday and many locations along the Rio Grande Valley and in eastern NM may reach 90 degrees for the first time this season.
